Wyoming is a state dedicated to the preservation of its rich artistic and cultural history. Dozens of museums promote the state's wildlife, art, and western heritage, while historic trails showcase frontier times. Cowboy poetry and Mountain Man Rendezvous are still popular events held in the Equality State.
Dubbed the Equality State for being the first state to grant women the right to vote, Wyoming was also home to Jackson Pollock, Crazy Horse, and Buffalo Bill. Its Bridger-Teton National Forest is the largest national forest in the country outside of Alaska and covers 3.4 million acres.
