About: New York University Tisch School of the Arts offers visiting students opportunities to take photography courses in New York City or abroad. The studio and critical studies courses allow students to explore photo-based imagery as personal and cultural expression. Students work in all modes of analog and digital photo-based image making and multimedia. Visiting undergraduate students can spend one semester studying photography in New York City through the Spring at Tisch Program. Students may also travel with Tisch to the Caribbean and study photography in Havana, Cuba during the spring semester. In the summer visiting undergraduate and graduate students can go to Europe and study contemporary photography in Berlin, Germany. The Tisch School also offers a summer photography program in New York City for high school sophomores and juniors. High School students receive six college credits after completing the program.
